A great Montepulciano from a small producer.
Oh I like how this starts off. Pretty aromas of baked raspberries, rosella, red currants and dark cherries. There's a softness about its touch which I find very appealing. A juicy cherry character floods the mouth with dried herbs cautiously showing their hand. Firmish tannins slowly release their grip with an almost red apple acid crunch to finish. Pizza and pasta here we come.
Drink to five years.
