Mt Difficulty Ghost Town Bendigo Pinot Noir 2016

From the Central Otago sub region of Bendigo comes this Pinot with a little more heft. This is the first Pinot made off this site by Mt Difficulty after signing a 20 year lease.

This site gets an additional 20 minutes of sunlight per day I'm reliably informed. That time adds up.

Beautiful aromatics of purple flowers and lavender diffuse from the glass with grace. Pan juices and dark cherry fruit take the stage. It's fleshy with bigger tannins and soft spices.
