What a lovely, approachable Cabernet we have here.
Juicy black fruits headline the show but then it gets its claws in deep. Some tension, it firms up bringing shades of chocolate and earthiness along for the ride. It sees 15 months in French oak and that plays a neat supporting role. A good dusting of dried herbs adds interest before firm black tea like tannins latch on to a long finish. Butterflied lamb on the barbecue and this = job done.
