Tight! Quite different to the releases tasted in the past, a lasso of acid around the edges keeps tugging leaving a firm imprint.
Tense, there is a nutty drive highlighted by cashews and hazelnuts. Some white fleshed stonefruit surges through the mid-palate but I can't escape the big acid drive - it just rips at you. A Mediterranean tonic feel looms on close but this is a wine that needs food.
