I was walking around the winery with Ox Hardy earlier this year and we had a taste of this out of the tank. It was quite complex then but it's good to see how blending of various portions has delivered a more balanced wine.
10% saw barrel fermentation in old oak that has brought soft creaminess as a key component of this Fiano. An ever so subtle dried herb character sits behind white stonefruit, lemon juice and creaminess. A composed wine, weekend lunches have an ideal partner with this in the glass.
Drink now.
