A little firm early on, it softened beautifully over three days of tasting. A melange of black olives, Bay leaf, dark plums and berries, some char and earthiness all fold into one another with ease. Grippy, sandy like tannins roll through effortlessly. Solid and reliable, gee I really enjoyed sipping on this. It's got that soothing, inner massage appeal, only heightened by a comfy spot beside a fire pit. Great stuff.
