The king of Barossa Rosé does it once again. This Turkey Flat is an excellent drink and the price screams value too. Get around it.
Winemaker James Adams has maintained this wine's fine form after his predecessor made Rosé lovers everywhere sit bolt upright. The picking regime, colour, texture and evocative scents have ensured that the bar remains high for all those who contemplate coming within arm's reach.
Pretty aromas of watermelon husk, red currants, freeze-dried raspberries, white cherries and red apple skin flow neatly to the flavour profile. Made from Grenache and gorgeously pale salmon on the eye, it ticks along with the fine ribbons of pleasure and silkiness. A fine sheet of textural interest keeps you in the hunt and seeking another large pour. A superb spring and summertime drink.
