For $25 this is a good get. A little generosity without being heavy-handed is the order of the day. Slow cooked food, fire pit chats or movie night with a wedge of dark chocolate in your mouth are all at home with this Paisley Wines Boombox Shiraz.
DJ Deadly is on the tools again here mixing the beats and crushing the fruit - gee I love the fusion of his love for music and wine and the Paisley labels all reflect this.
Cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and dark chocolate make the first impression. A dab of fruit sweetness clings on but the dense plums and dark berry fruit weave their way about. Fruit bun spices and those baking spices we've come to know from the Barossa raise their hand. A little tight initially, it cooled its heels with time in the glass. I like it and it represents good value.
