A fresh and inviting sparkling from Kosciuszko, this is an approachable and easy drinking aperitif. Of most importance, I feel I have some oneupmanship on the name with an extra Z in my surname.
A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier (55.5/35/9.5), a biscuity and bready textural presence sits at the core. Fresh lemons, almond blossom and citrus flowers skip from the glass with clean fruit offering width and breadth through the mouth. A fine ginger spice clings to a sustained finish. It's a really tidy drink and I'd be happy to have a glass.
Drink now to three years.
