Of the four Lambrook wines sampled, I enjoyed this Shiraz the most. It's a fabulous expression of cool climate Shiraz and one I'd be more than happy to share with my friends when they swing by for a glass or two.
Hypnotic aromas of peppered steak, Ironbark, red peppercorns, char and dried herbs all work together to get you in the mood. Savoury driven, dark cherries, dense plums and red berries seek your favour. Delicately spiced and long, the fruit has a gravitating depth and complexity as it leaves some earthy and dark chocolate notes to consider. Long and moreish, what a beauty and well-priced to boot!
