Scents of menthol, mint, blackberries and blackcurrants get the juices flowing. It's dense and considered to deliver all the usual Cabernet things you'd expect. More fruit than savoury, although the pendulum swings after two days of tasting. Cedar, dark chocolate, mocha and coffee grounds work their way forward. It's a wine with a fabulous length that is etched with fine spices that reach every nook and cranny. A big thumbs up from me.
