The Rivers Lane is all street tough and chest beating, whereas this Anniversary Shiraz demonstrates some attractive aromas in the form of dried purple flowers, vibrant Cherry Ripe slice and baked blueberries. Blackberries, tar, cloves and baking chocolate add delight with peppered steak and a plummy finish. Tense spices curl around the mid-palate and reach out to a respectable close. I'd be happy to kick back by the fire pit and enjoy a glass - it's solid drinking.
