Bursting with fizz, this Soumah Blanc de Blanc is a handy party starter. Plenty of fruit coupled with a drying finish makes this an easy go-to.
Lemons, lemon myrtle and lemon curd drive a vivid citrusy profile that is propped up by white fleshed nectarines and ripe pears. A sourdough complexity adds some weight and another level of interest with a whip crack of acid on close. It glides through the mouth, albeit feeling a bit segmented with fruit, texture and acid drawing clear line lines. But most drinkers wouldn't be as picky if this were splashed in their glass. Overall, it's good stuff.
