From their vineyards perched 520 metres above, this Chardonnay was whole bunch pressed (30%) and barrel fermented going through full malo before seeing French oak for nine months (20% new).
Swirl the glass and you are showered with interest. Oyster shell, popcorn and concentrated white fleshed nectarines lead from the front. Lemon juice, lemon sorbet and yellow grapefruit add a fabulous citrus touch with soft cashews, almonds and wafers hitching a ride. A delicate creaminess moves and sways with ease. A delicious moreishness brings the mouth to water and elevates the experience further more. Classy and then some.
