Three parcels of fruit have been sourced from vineyards throughout McLaren Vale to deliver this juicy and vibrant Varney Wines Entrada that oozes charm and easy drinking appeal.
A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Touriga (73/18/9), partial and whole bunch fermentation took place before being sent to seasoned French oak for a few months.
Berry pie that is mulberry and blueberry heavy saturates the palate. Black cherries rise up with time. There is a faint minerally presence and a curious metallic like feel. Some beef stock, char, charcoal and a dash of dried herbs add some savoury nuances with a fine emery board tannin mopping up the tail. Above all, it's a delicate, juicy and attractive drink that will appease a diverse range of wine lovers.
Drink to three years.
