First Terrain Shiraz 2021

 

Part of the Bimbadgen portfolio, this First Terrain Shiraz is a big, muscular, swashbuckling thing that is all about clout.

It's ripe. Very ripe. So much so, it's pushing me away rather than drawing me in. Robust density coats the mouth with sweet cedar from the oak. Sweet spices chime in too, but it's hard to escape the sledgehammer effect. I'd prefer others.
