This Oakridge Blanc de Blancs is a better drink than so many of those cheap, imported Champagnes that many froth over.
Despite not being a shade behind the previous 2018 release, this is still a terrific drink.
Sourdough, wafer biscuits, lemon rind and old school lemonade are parcelled up with an almond meal and cashew nuttiness. A fine bead keeps the eye fixated and the textural detail provides much to chew on and consider. Classy stuff in its own right, pop a bottle of this for your next celebration.
