With Sunbury emblazoned across the label, this Sparkling Brut comes from a region best known as Melbourne Airport's nearest wine region.
It kicks off with a serious perfume, but then to taste, it thins out. Cold-pressed apples, lemon juice, honey tones and Greek honey puffs are the main players. Pinned to the mid-palate, the follow-through is lacking which was disappointing after such a promising start. The $30 sparkling market is a competitive space, and to be honest, I would prefer others.
