The fruit delivers an admirable presence in the form of blueberries, cherries and baked raspberries. A little Cherry Ripe appeal builds some fabulous momentum. A lick of sweetness looms up, then a tense, muscular spice whips through and takes hold. I enjoyed the earthy and meaty drive that elevates the savoury profile. It's a great barbecue wine.
