In the zone, this is a great expression of Shiraz.
Handfuls of plums, mulberries and baked blueberries fill the mouth. Ten months in French and Hungarian oak has imparted a charred oak note. A cuddly warmth reaches out, and is wrapped in a blanket of dark chocolate. Spicy to finish, cocoa-like tannins sit comfortably on a persistent finish. It's a really enjoyable drink.
