This is the third release of Yalumba's Grenache Blanc. From a vineyard planted adjacent to their famed Tri-Centenary vineyard, this is well worth tracking down.
Almond blossom and little white field flowers build a welcoming aromatic lift. Canned pear and poached pear fruit mingle with white fleshed peach to fill out the mid palate, framed by fine cinnamon spices and a touch of white pepper. A faint lemon twist appears on the close as those gentle spices hum softly in the background. Elegant and quietly engaging, this is very nicely done.
