Delicious, engaging and utterly thrilling. This is an excellent Riesling from Yalumba's 1961 Block.
So fragrant, aromas diffuse from the glass with ease and fill the room before you’ve even lifted the glass. Quartz and white stone minerality hum beneath a lively mix of green apples, lemons and that signature lemon myrtle note this site expresses oh so well. There’s a lovely tang through the palate - crisp and invigorating that keeps the refreshment factor high. Apple sours ripple through the close with a fine brush of texture giving subtle shape. Brilliant!
