A fleshy and luscious Riesling with a pleasant minerally drive, it was great to taste this 2025 alongside its 2024 sibling.
I must admit, it comes across a little older than it should for a 2025. That rich core of fruit is deceptive and it's not a Riesling that exudes freshness and vitality. Lemon curd and lemon butter kick things off, kaffir lime leaf with some honeyed tones that draw my mind to Greek honey puffs. It tenses up on the mid-palate with a feathering of texture that delivers a green tea tannin feel. This is more of a food wine than a Riesling you'd chill hard and share gleefully on a sweltering day.
