The fruit was handpicked, cold soaked for three days with a small percentage of whole bunches before going through wild yeast fermentation and seeing 16 months in large format French oak.
Wonderfully savoury with a teasing spice that wraps itself around the palate, dark cherries and dark fruit lead the charge with tilled earth, licorice and black tea. There is a delicacy here, yet there is also some substance to hold onto. Those savoury nuances build a fabulous momentum leading to a most impressive length and elegant moreishness. It's a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir from Orange.
