A quirky take on the Rhone white blend that hits the mark deluxe!
It's a blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne sourced from various Barossa vineyards. What Tim Smith has done here though, is delivered a wine with shape and an impressive texture. It offers tonic and green tea tannin like feels and I want it. Honeysuckle, poached pears, white fleshed stonefruit with lashings of apricot, there is a custard powder and custard apple thing going on too. Fine ginger spices appear to be placed with precision coating the palate with an incredible moreishness. Big love and great drinking for the texture hounds out there.
