I'm not gonna lie, this Raidis Estate Riesling is one of my Coonawarra go-to wines simply because of its absolutely delicious persona.
This 2025, however, seems a bit off the pace compared to years gone by. Sure, it carries its unmissable fresh green apple, lime juice, lemon zest, lemon sorbet and sherbet delights with those classy chalky feels through the palate, but this release has a vegetal tinge that pulls it back.
Put it down to vintage variation, but I suspect most wouldn't even pick it up while hypnotised by those delightful aromas of white florals and flickers of musk.
