Gee this is a great cool climate Shiraz. Silky, it glides through the mouth before dusty tannins swoop.
No new oak was used with this wine. As a result, it sees seasoned 500L for 10 months and is bottled without fining or filtration.
Dark cherries and red plums strike early with cloves, char and briar moving in and getting comfortable. The savoury aspect of the wine takes the stage the longer it is in the glass and offers plenty of chew on the finish. It is a wine with a moreish and seductive appeal offering plenty to consider. With a proven ability to age, this will go the long haul if that's you desire. Beautifully done.
