From Escarpment's Cobble Stone Vineyard comes this Pahi Pinot Noir. Comprised of four clones, it's tense and will benefit from some bottle age.
There is no denying the generosity. It sees 25% new French oak for 20 months. Morello cherries and dark plums play a long game. Soft spices are highlighted by Szechuan and flickers of five spice. Some char and game add layers of interest with a sinewy chew on close. Give it time and it will pay you back.
