A Chardonnay with refined purity and excellent balance, well-handled fruit is coupled with pristine citrus highlights and a minerally drive. Superb!
Whole bunch pressed, it spends time in French oak for ten months (30% new).
Take a whiff and you immediately get the sense that this is a quality product. The polish and sheen are unmistakable. Scents of wet stone, oyster shell and cut lemon diffuse from the glass.
The flow of green apple, lemon juice, and plush white nectarine ensures the class is evident and oozes from the first sip. Vanilla with a delicate creaminess, the drive and poise are breathtaking. It slides through the mouth seemingly on a cloud waltzing on with sheer ease. A classy Chardonnay that built tremendous momentum over a few days of tasting and it is a wine that I could sip for some time yet. Brilliant!
