Light, bright and fresh, this is an easygoing Pinot Noir from the Yarra Valley.
Sourced from various sites in including Soumah's home blocks in Gruyere, wild fermentation took place before aging in French oak (10% new) for nine months.
Red and dark cherries are joined by fennel and briar with a twiggy drive. The savoury characters wrestle the attention away from fruit with a fine spice hugging each turn on a respectable finish. Soumah can be relied upon to deliver quality wines and this Pinot certainly lives up to that. Tick.
Drink to three years.
