This gets in deep. There is a comfort factor about its carry. Dense dark plums and dark chocolate are all the rage with licorice pinned to the edges. The tannins seemingly reach for your soul as they slowly dry out. There is a plump feel through the mouth but the persistent finish is sustained and just hangs. A long-termer, it's a wine that will only improve with time, and several days of tasting proved that. Nicely done.
