Tasted alongside the new Lighter Pinot Grigio (7% alc) in the Y Series range, from the first whiff you can tell this is a lot more serious. It's a great drink for the money.
More expressive, cut pear, poached pear and field flowers offer a welcome invitation. The cinnamon spice folds through the mouth with some more clout compared to the Lighter Pinot Grigio, yet it rolls about without much fuss. Some ginger lingers, but overall, for the money this a great buy (and it's vegan friendly too) - you can often track it down for around $10. Winning!
