Sourced from a grower using organic and minimal intervention processes, this Single Wire Shiraz from Tin Shed Wines comes from the cooler climes of the Eden Valley.
Hand-picked and wild yeast fermented, layers of mulberries, blueberries and a shimmer of blackberries present themselves for your pleasure. Cedar plus licks of caramel and vanilla are pinned to the edges. Curiously, the fruit thins out quicker than expected and that luscious depth and generosity you can expect backs off here. There is a warmth that wraps itself around like a comforting blanket with baking spices riding to a long finish. It's a good wine but I walk away just wanting just a little more body and shape.
