DAOSA Rosé 2021

Delicious! Sunsets are made easy with approachable and considered wines like this. The DAOSA Rosé 2021 is a Blanc de Noirs with detailed complexity and smooth delivery that oozes relaxation vibes.
A blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay (88/4/8), the first fermentation took place in old oak for eight months before the second fermentation was completed in bottle.

A busy wine with plenty going on, think white cherries, mandarin peel and mandarin juice that follow on from aromas of strawberries and dried red petals. There is a puffy donut yeastiness and pastry complexity with Mediterranean tonic and peach skin feels stretching through the mouth. Bone dry, almonds and cashews arrive late on the scene but linger on a fine and delicately spiced finish. Beautiful late afternoon drinking.
