Colours of the South Rosso 2020

A barbecue or roast night special. Generous with soft spices, this is a terrific drink.

Hesketh Negroamaro 2021

The more I see Negroamaro the more I want in. It's good to see another new Aussie label on the shelves, the fruit for this one is sourced from the Barossa.

Hesketh Negroamaro 2019

Negroamaro is catching on and I dig. This is a solid example that is well priced. Go forth and embrace.

Coriole Montimaro 2020

Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Negroamaro and Nero d'Avola co-fermented to deliver an Italian superhero - less the cape.

Coriole Negroamaro 2020

Terrifically moreish, here's an Italian worth breaking bread with. A wonderfully expressive wine.

Santolin Wines Cosa Nostra Il Capo 2018

Come for a swim in an ocean of black fruit delish. Slot this into the 'comfort wine' category (if there was ever such a thing).

Ricca Terra Bullets Before Cannonballs 2017

Take a bullet for this. A wicked blend of Tempranillo, Nero d'Avola, Lagrein and Negroamaro. Sit back and slurp it slow.

Ricca Terra Colour of Calmness Rosé 2018

Super attractive packaging. The colours used certainly grab the eye. Good drinking Rosé too.

Coriole Negroamaro 2017

A relatively new addition to the Coriole range and only the second release - this the only planting in McLaren Vale, too, I'm led to believe.

Across the country, there are almost a dozen plantings including the Barossa and Hunter Valley, Adelaide Hills, Mudgee and Heathcote.
