A blend of Montepulciano, Aglianico and Negroamaro, this rustic, medium-bodied blend from the Barossa is armed and ready to take down any ragu, pizza or burger that you throw at it.
Awash with generous handfuls of baked blueberries, mulberries and dark-skinned plums, this is a classic food wine that would sit perfectly on long tables lined with plenty of nosh that needs washing down. Ripe raspberries rise up with time in the glass, as do liquorice bullets. Dusty and drying tannins add a neat final touch with the urge of taking another sip not far behind. Nicely done.
