Concentrated, generous, fleshy and textured, there is an ocean of delight awaiting those who enjoy richer styles of Chardonnay.
Pressed to large format French oak (30% new), it spent 12 months on lees prior to bottling.
Dehydrated peaches, popcorn and caramel corn, buttered toast, Portuguese tart, dried mango, pineapple - everytime I go back, something new leaps out. That's my kinda wine, interest in buckets! Struck match and flinty things muse with the pitter-patter of ginger spices tapping away on a long and moreish finish. A grapefruit tang swoops in on close as I sit back with a wry grin that reeks of satisfaction. Excellent stuff.
