Super dense in the glass, black plums, black cherries and mulberries lead the charge. A rich style of Shiraz, the fruit balance is respectable, working in harmony with the oak that offers some char and cedar notes. As much as I'm a fan of the generosity, it's the tannins that have me fixated. Powdery and dusty, they coat the mouth effortlessly and are in no rush to leave. What's important to note is that the fruit is not overripe, which at times can be assumed with generosity. Great stuff.
