A barbecue or roast night special. Generous with soft spices, this is a terrific drink.
A blend of Montepulciano, Negroamaro, Aglianico (43/43/14), it is dry, sapping and grippy. Oceans of dense plums are partnered by pretty scents of dried red flowers. A surge of dark chocolate, blood orange and a scattering of dried herbs build some depth to the savoury profile. Cocoa tannins reach long on a seemingly never-ending finish. Feed it some protein and you are in business.
