It opens with peach blossom and elderflower aromas. Pretty florals deliver a mix of white and yellow flower perfume. There is more of a citrus drive here compared to the entry-level Rusty's Run with a lemon sherbet tang oozing class. An intriguing presence of Nashie pear had me leaning in a little more with a minerally drive for good measure. That touch of oak shows some flint early but the finish is all lemons and a fine tickle of ginger spice. This is a very tidy Chardonnay.
