Rippled with baking spices, it's long and moreish. Dark fruits, baked raspberries and plums sit at the core and they are well supported by dark chocolate, cloves and star anise. Cedar and caramel oak showed their hand early but after a couple of days, it had worked its way in. Some dried herbs and a dusting of black earth cut in the finish but the density of the fruit keeps the boss status. A really tidy drink and one that is worth keeping handy.
