Yangarra Estate Noir 2022

Such an intriguing wine, this Yangarra Estate Noir is bursting with curiosity and interest. I could keep my nose in the glass for a while - it is so expressive.

A blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise, Shiraz, Mourvedre (34/31/20/8/5/2), it is gloriously medium-bodied with a radiant hue. I hear a whisper it is up for a name change as well with some consumers thinking it is Pinot Noir. Watch this space...

Purple flowers, dried red petals, red licorice and some cured meat set a cracking tempo. Juicy raspberries and baked raspberries muse with blueberries. Drying with a savoury earthiness prominent on close, this is super delish and a wine I'd highly recommend if you seek something that just glides along with ease.

Drink to three years.
