A spicy Shiraz from the hands of Stu Bourne that I would happily recommend.
A blend of fruit parcels from the northern and western Barossa with some valley floor in the mix for good measure. It sees oak for 11 months, a small portion of which was new French oak.
Ripples of spice and black pepper seem never-ending. Dark berries and chocolate make a statement early with plummy fruit keeping things on an even keel. A touch of mocha on close, the length seems unstoppable. All up, it is a very tidy wine.
