Ten Minutes By Tractor Wallis Tasmania Pinot Noir 2016


The privilege of looking at some amazing wines from amazing producers and sites is never lost on me. In this tasting pack from Ten Minutes by Tractor came this little surprise - the first release of the new Wallis Tasmania label. It slips straight in with the classy Single Vineyard wines this producer is renowned for.

Bellwether Tamar Valley Chardonnay 2012


Sue Bell is really shaking things up in her neck of the woods in a range of different ways such as sourcing fruit from outside the region in search of premium parcels to crowd funding her effort to get 'off the grid'. I hope to cross paths one day - my efforts in January were thwarted by a dinner she was hosting. Sue seems to be hosting multiple events on her property of late. Ben Williamson from famed Brisbane restaurant Gerard's was on site recently cooking up a storm too.
