Everything about this from the first swirl is about its soft presence. Soft scents of white flowers and lime zest. Soft feels through the mouth and soft fruit. There's a soft mouth perfume too. Then snap! The tension turns on a dime. Seizing up on the mid-palate, the acid is perky and energetic. That liveliness brings another level of class. Bone dry, a slatey minerally character rolls along. Make no mistake, this has massive "pour me another glass" factor. It will age superbly too. I had a glass of the Mesh 2012 a month ago and it was oozing freshness and showing those quality toast and honeyed tones that only time will bring.
