Michael Fragos got in touch to share some new wines. I haven't seen any wines from Chapel Hill for some time so it was good to get back in the saddle. Here we have a Chardonnay with some richness but it's not OTT.
Measured with good layers of interest, think real lemonade, almonds and raw cashews. Vanilla slides in with a soft touch of ginger. A lemony acidity keeps everything in shape but the back palate goes MIA. It would pass the roast chook test.
Drink to three years.
