Some wines are better with food. That's not to say they are dud wines, but wine was made to enjoy with a meal and that will only enhance the experience. This Pinot Gris exemplifies that.
Whole bunch pressed, there is some body and texture to entice. Think quince, white-fleshed stonefruit with a Mediterranean tonic feel rolling around. Softly spiced, the length is impressive. An easy going kinda wine, it is nicely done and ready for a Sunday lunch.
