A riot of black fruits, there is some heft here. Big, muscular and dense, this has no time for social chit-chat as it gets straight into its work.
Locked and loaded, this is that muscular chest bursting through a threadbare t-shirt. Blackberries and dark plums front the street tough presence. You get a sense this is a SWAT team exploring every crevice for detail and that detail is what is shared. Highlighted by dark chocolate, berry pie and flickers of char, it calms with time, particularly day two of tasting. Give it a decent before serving I suggest. But more importantly, feed this. It needs food by its side. A steak, a beef pie with mash, even a wedge of Old Gold in the side of your mouth, just feed it.
