GSM is always a good barbecue wine option. This release from Paisley Wines has a meaty profile that asks for it.
Its delivery hits with a bit of a thud. The elements are there but it's blunt and to the point. Dark berries, char, rubs of earth and some old leather. Some oak shows its hand along with a little licorice that comes along for the ride. Long with woodsy and meaty spices, all up, it's a good drink.
