The Heggies Reserve is a single vineyard wine planted to the Bernard Clone and it sees 14 months on lees.
Rich and complex, cashews and barbecued peach step forward early. A flash of lime juice tucks in behind with nougat, some creamy oak and custard powder building layers of interest. The acidity has a brightness to it with texture feathered throughout. A fine, ginger nut biscuit finish rolls and on. A big tick.
Drink to eight years.
